A Lot To Like So Far In 2018

Yes we admit it, we may have been sleeping on social media of late but that's not to say there hasn't been a lot going on for MX as we move into the second half of the year.

We've enjoyed the company, not to mention the coaching of new additions Lochie and Estelle who both have exciting campaigns coming up with New Zealand age group camps. They've brought their own style to MX and it's safe to say we're better for it.

Our MX Performance players now show up to training in their slick new gear courtesy of Adidas Field Hockey, a supporter of ours since day one.

The Wellington U15 teams have been named and we couldn't be happier with the MX representation in both the boys and the girls teams. A real validation for us that what we're doing has an impact.

With the Blacksticks women and men doing so well at the Commonwealth Games, what better time to get Steve Jenness along to a few MX sessions. Steve has long been a proud Capital player and has kindly given up his time in recent weeks to up skill our group in front of goal. As young aspiring players, what more could you want!

Make sure you keep an eye out for term three registrations which will be available within the week. We welcome all players, old and new but would encourage anyone who hasn't experienced what it's like to be part of the MX team to try us out.

The best part is we're not done yet, not even close. With terms three and four to come, we're excited about the constant evolution of Wellington's premier coaching academy. We're working harder than ever to deliver for our players and although the future is uncertain, we're full steam ahead as MX continues to grow.
